BumpIn offers hosted shoutbox, tagboard, chatbox, chat rooms and social interaction bars for your site, blogs, forums, and social networks. The beauty of BumpIn is its simplicity.

To use the BumpIn widgets on your site, you simply need to customize the look&feel of the widget and cut & paste the code given to you at the end of the registration process. There is no download, no installation, no configuration. You will have the widget working on your site within a couple of minutes!

We offer special plugins for both wordpress (blogs) and Joomla (CMS) to simplify the process of installing widgets in your blog or forum. The links to these plugins are given on the main bumpin page.

Q: My Shoutbox/Chatroom is not working properly

A: This typically happens due to 2 reasons: 1. Change In the Code: Did you cut and paste the html/javascript code provided to you during the registration process? The most common problem occurs when anything in the code is changed. This can introduce errors in the operation or look&feel of the shoutbox/chatroom. 2. Conflict with Javascript libraries: BumpIn widgets use JQuery for embedding the widget in your site. If your website or widgets on your site use the “MooTools” or “Prototype” Javascript libraries, it is possible that the widgets do not render properly. In either case, please contact us at info@bumpin.com with the domain name of your site and we will promptly fix the problem.

Q. My widget is not working and shows “Widget disabled, backlink was removed”.

A. The FREE widgets by BumpIn include a backlink to TicketMy.com site which is part of BumpIn. If you remove this backlink, our Free widgets will stop working. In case you changed the code provided to you, you can get the original version by logging into your account again.

Q. Is it possible to remove the backlink and BumpIn logo from the widgets?

A. Our paid/premium versions do not include a backlink and the BumpIn logo. If you are interested in the premium version, please send us an email at info@bumpin.com and include the estimated monthly traffic of your site for a price quote.

Q. How can I download the BumpIn Chat Server?

A. At this time, BumpIn is only offered as a hosted service. You simply need to cut & paste the code in your website, blog or forum and the chat will automatically appear on your website. You do not need to download or install anything at your end.

Q. I have a large website/blog/social network and would like the BumpIn chat to be integrated in the same vein as facebook chat?
